sandra boynton's, One, Two, Three. we can read this one over and over and over. matt reads it the cutest. there's a part in the book that says, "Six is fun for a running race, except for the one who get's sixth place" and matt adds, "but not you, you're the winner". it makes me smile every time he reads it. some other favorite stuff...crackers. she likes these big crackers that you're supposed to use at parties with fancy cheese, but she likes them just plain. she really likes to drink from a straw these days. we drink water from a straw, the one time i put formula in the cup she was NOT happy about it. lima beans have been a fave lately too.
she's been sick lately, it started with nasty nasty cold that i think i gave to her. sorry honey. then it turned into her second ear infection. ugh! luckily she likes the taste of amoxicillin. she weighed twenty pounds at her doctor's appointment. she's such a pip-squeak. i love it. i'm not sure where she got little genes from but we'll see if she stays that way.
so, things she don't...
having her boogers sucked out. hates the blue thing! having her diaper changed when she's busy playing. when we yell at the dogs, she cries too. bella got into the trash this morning and i was sleeping in. well matt yelled at her pretty good. and two seconds later she starts to cry. so much for sleeping in. being fed with a spoon all the time. she gets very frustrated when she can't feed herself. she really doesn't like it when the car stops. she'll be good for a full day of errands as long as we don't stop at lights too often.
she's getting so big. in her own little way. we're really close to walking. i got a new footstool that's just her size and it's making her stand and walk around it more often i think we're close. maybe it will be her birthday gift to me. : )
